No Secrets
My work is grounded in honesty, openness, and creating a space where everyone can feel supported. I follow a No Secrets Policy, which means I cannot keep information shared by one family member or partner a secret from the others involved in the shared therapy process.
This helps protect the therapeutic relationship and ensures that our work together remains collaborative, transparent, and helpful for everyone.
-
Confidentiality & Supervision
Your privacy is extremely important to me. Everything you share in our sessions is held with care and respect. I am committed to protecting your personal information and maintaining a safe space where you can speak freely.
I only release information when legally required (such as concerns about safety) or when you give explicit written permission.
As a Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon, I am required to work under clinical supervision. This means I may discuss aspects of our work with my supervisor to support your care.
However:
My supervisor is also bound by professional confidentiality ethics.
Outside of supervision, I do not share information from our sessions unless:
You provide written permission,
There is risk of harm to you or others,
There is suspected abuse or neglect of a minor or vulnerable person,
I am legally required to release information.
I will always do my best to inform you if a situation arises where I must break confidentiality.

Please use these methods only for scheduling, clarifying information, or sharing brief updates. For anything sensitive or emotional, we’ll talk about it together during your session where you can feel supported and heard.
